it's been a while, friendly internet world.

or is it so friendly?

since writing last, i've traveled these united states and seen a lot of love, a lot of hate and injustice.  a lot of poverty, a lot of beauty, a lot of passion.  but more than just seeing, i've lived and put the Word into action.  not all the time, but by grace, the best i could.  it wasn't anything i did, but the Father doing his work and me simply joining in on it.

oh yeah, and since then i've passed my motorcycle test, started knitting a hat, and seriously reevaluated my life.  spent a lot of time with dear friends, tested my sleep limits, and watched inglorious basterds (because when we're bored we spend money and stare at screens...)

this is the latest:
on clutter:  "If you're going to find out who you'll become, you need space in your life for who you are, rather than storing reminders of who you thought you were going to be."

apparently, the best granola in the world.  i need to try making this, stat.

trying my hand at making a beaded cover for my motorcycle seat, to improve comfort.  how hard can it be, right?  ain't no one gonna charge me forty dollars for something i could string together myself.
